Pantry Moth Larva (Waxworm/Indianmeal Moth Larva)

Found in residential pantries, larders, and food processing facilities worldwide.

Feeds on stored grains, flour, cereal, dry pet food, nuts, dried fruit, and chocolate.

The larvae spin silk webs over food sources as they feed; they often crawl away from food to find high, dark crevices to pupate.

A major household pest that causes food spoilage and economic loss; however, the larvae (waxworms) are sometimes used as live feed for pet reptiles.
