Masked Hunter (Nymph stage)

Commonly found in houses, barns, and other buildings where it hides in dark corners or under debris.

Carnivorous; feeds on other small insects such as lacewings, earwigs, bed bugs, and flies.

Nymphs are known for camouflaging themselves with dust, lint, and sand to ambush prey; they are primarily nocturnal.

Beneficial to ecosystems as natural pest control for household insects; however, they can deliver a painful bite to humans if handled or provoked.
