Tineid Moth Larva (Casemaking Clothes Moth)

Indoor environments, specifically closets, wardrobes, and upholstery where natural fibers are stored.

Keratin-rich materials such as wool, fur, feathers, hair, and sometimes silk or upholstered furniture.

The larva constructs a protective silken case incorporating debris and fibers, which it drags along while feeding. It eventually pupates inside this case.

Significant pest risk as they damage clothing and textiles; they provide no direct benefit to the indoor ecosystem.
