Natural Habitat

Feeds mainly on carbohydrates, including starches, sugars, paper, book bindings, wallpaper paste, and fabrics; it may also consume dead organic matter.

Behavior Patterns

Wingless, fast-running, and primarily nocturnal; adults and juveniles resemble one another, with gradual development and long lifespans. They hide in cracks and can survive for months with little food.
