Silverfish (likely)

Dark, damp places such as bathrooms, basements, wall voids, and leaf litter; often found near moisture indoors.

Feeds mainly on carbohydrates, including starches, sugars, paper, book bindings, wallpaper paste, and fabrics; it may also consume dead organic matter.

Wingless, fast-running, and primarily nocturnal; adults and juveniles resemble one another, with gradual development and long lifespans. They hide in cracks and can survive for months with little food.

Harmless to people and pets and does not transmit disease, but infestations can damage paper, photographs, glue, and textiles. It also helps decompose organic debris.
