Likely carpet beetle larva

Indoors, especially carpets, upholstered furniture, closets, and other undisturbed areas containing lint or natural fibers.

Larvae feed on wool, fur, feathers, silk, shed skin, dead insects, and accumulated organic debris. Adults generally feed on pollen and nectar.

Larvae are slow-moving, often hairy, and avoid light; they may wander across walls seeking shelter or pupation sites. Adults are usually found near windows or flowers.

Larvae can damage natural-fiber clothing, carpets, and taxidermy, and their hairs may irritate sensitive skin or airways. They recycle animal-derived organic material, while adults can pollinate flowers.
