Indoors, under furniture and objects, and outdoors in leaf litter, vegetation, and protected crevices.

A nocturnal, active hunter that eats small insects and other spiders rather than building a capture web.

Usually hides in a silk retreat by day and wanders at night. It may bite defensively if trapped against skin, but is not aggressive.
