Seed bug (likely dirt-colored seed bug)

Leaf litter, grasses, gardens, woodland edges, and areas beneath seeds or plant debris; often found around buildings in autumn.

Mostly feeds on fallen or developing seeds by piercing them with a straw-like beak; occasionally consumes plant juices or small dead arthropods.

Usually ground-dwelling and active in daylight, hiding under debris when disturbed. Adults may overwinter in sheltered places and sometimes gather indoors.
