Natural Habitat
Common on walls, windows, vegetation, fences, and other sunlit surfaces worldwide. They often enter buildings while hunting.
Diet & Feeding
Active visual predators that stalk and seize flies, mosquitoes, small moths, and other arthropods. They use venom to subdue prey but do not build capture webs.
Behavior Patterns
Diurnal, agile hunters with excellent vision; they can jump many body lengths and attach a silk dragline. They retreat into silken shelters for resting, molting, and overwintering.

Generally harmless to people, with bites rare and usually mild if provoked. Beneficial predators that reduce household and garden insect pests.
