Lint/Fiber

Commonly found in indoor environments, on clothing, furniture, and other surfaces where textiles are present.

Not applicable (abiotic material).

Consists of shed textile fibers and other debris. It does not exhibit biological behavior. Accumulates due to friction and static electricity.

Generally harmless. Large accumulations can sometimes clog filters or vents. In rare cases, some fibers can be allergens for sensitive individuals. No direct ecological benefits.
