Asian lady beetle

Found in forests, fields, orchards, and commonly invades human homes in autumn.

Primarily feeds on aphids, scale insects, and other soft-bodied agricultural pests.

Aggregates in large numbers on sunny walls in autumn to overwinter in sheltered structures.

Beneficial as a natural pest controller, but can release foul-smelling yellow fluid and occasionally bite humans.
