Grain storage facilities, flour mills, warehouses, and pantries where damp or moldy grain is present.

Secondary pest that feeds on damaged grain, cereal products, flour, and the molds often found on these items.

Extremely active and fast-moving; their flattened bodies allow them to hide in tiny cracks. They thrive in high-humidity environments and are often seen near the surface of grain bulk.

Risks: Major nuisance and economic pest that contaminates stored food supplies. Benefits: None to humans or man-made environments.
