Warm indoor spaces, especially furniture, cupboards, electronics, and high, dry areas.

Omnivorous scavenger; eats crumbs, grease, starches, and other organic materials.

Nocturnal and secretive. Females glue egg cases to sheltered surfaces; the species can spread through infested furniture and belongings.

Can contaminate food and surfaces and may worsen allergies or asthma; offers no meaningful household benefit.
