Bristletail (likely jumping bristletail)

Moist leaf litter, rock surfaces, bark, and other sheltered outdoor locations; occasionally found around buildings and vehicles.

Primarily grazes on algae, lichens, decaying plant material, and organic films on surfaces.

Wingless and covered in scales, with long antennae and three tail filaments. It is mainly nocturnal, fast-moving, and can jump by flexing its abdomen.

Harmless to people, pets, clothing, and structures; it does not bite or infest homes. It helps recycle organic matter and serves as prey for spiders and other predators.
