Green stink bug

Gardens, orchards, woodlands, and agricultural fields where it feeds on trees, shrubs, and crops.

Plant juices and seeds, feeding by piercing plant tissues with its mouthparts.

Active during daylight hours, emits a strong foul-smelling odor when disturbed or crushed, overwinters as an adult in sheltered locations.

Can be a significant agricultural pest damaging fruit and vegetable crops, but poses no direct threat or harm to humans.
