Booklouse

Damp, warm areas with high humidity, often found in pantries, libraries, or near moldy surfaces.

Feeds on mold, fungi, starches, and organic debris found in book bindings or stored food.

Mostly active in humid conditions; they move in short, jerky bursts and do not fly.

Harmless to humans and pets, but can be a nuisance or contaminate stored dry goods in large numbers.
