Natural Habitat

Tropical and subtropical regions; indoors, they are found in wall voids, behind baseboards, and in potted plants.

Diet & Feeding

Honeydew from aphids and mealybugs; indoors, they prefer sweet substances like sugar, cakes, and syrups, but also eat grease and dead insects.

Behavior Patterns

They are highly mobile, frequently moving their nests between temporary sites. They run rapidly and erratically when disturbed, making them difficult to track.
