Bed bug

Typically hides in mattress seams, bed frames, furniture, and cracks near sleeping areas; found worldwide in homes and lodging.

Feeds on blood, mainly from humans, usually at night.

Flat, reddish-brown, wingless insects that hide by day and emerge to feed. They reproduce indoors and can persist for months without a meal.
