Green fruitworm caterpillar (likely)

On foliage in gardens, orchards, and woodlands, especially where broadleaf trees or fruit crops grow.

Larvae eat leaves, buds, and sometimes developing fruit; adults feed mainly on nectar.

The smooth, green-to-brown caterpillars curl into a C-shape when disturbed. They feed mostly at night and pupate in the soil.

Can damage leaves and fruit when abundant, but usually pose no direct risk to people or pets.
